Mum in London

I was so blessed that my lovely Mom came to visit me! She arrived on American Mother’s Day (different date than in England), and was here for her 65th Birthday! What a lucky girl I am to spend such days with her. I traveled to Heathrow to ‘pick her up’ by which I mean I got on the train with her. She stayed in a hotel for the first few days then came to stay with me in my flat whilst my flat mate was in Australia visiting her family. Worked out really well! I’m so proud of all the things she did on her own while I had to work. She did loads of walking and transport on her own! That’s quite a feat!

She had her first official Sunday Roast and became a lifelong fan of Bulmer’s Cider – or as she calls it, “Bloomers”.
