Dorking

With the impending birth of my first niece I realised I had better get working on her quilt! I found a cute quilt store I wanted to check out called ‘The Quilt Room’ out in Dorking. It was about an hour train ride and a bit of a hike from the train station to the high street but it was a really good visit. I enjoyed seeing somewhere new and the quilt shop was excellent. After getting my goods, I braved the windy rain in subpar weather prepared shoes and coat and went up to Surrey Hills AONB (Area of Outstanding National Beauty). Luckily after I did my nature visit there was a pub across the way.
