I realllllly need some paper hexies so I can do some hand sewing on the bus/train. I thought perhaps The Village Haberdashery might have them but nope. I have been wanting to visit their shop for some time though so I really enjoyed having a look around. It was smaller than I expected but they offer some gorgeous fabrics and yarns and lots of classes. It’s a quick train ride from work and I can loop back home via the overground so I’m looking forward to going back! Bonus – gorgeous post rain sunset.
Earlier in the day I walked up to the London Zoo. It’s not a quick walk and it took my whole lunch break to get there and back to work. I did get to sneak a peek at some penguins though and snapped a few photos along the way.
